Gestures and Figures

These are some of the gestural figure drawings I did in my class this spring. We could only use ink and non traditional tools such as spoons, twigs, leaves, acorns, straws etc. It was quite enjoyable to experiment with so many different methods.

Flow of Change

I did these first two pieces my freshman year at school. These two pieces later grealty influenced my most recent series titled the, "Flow of Change."

The Beginning

There exists a quote somewhere that says something like, "To know where you are going, you have to know where you have been."
Well, this is my past and my beginning. This series that I did in high school sparked within me a fascination with creating and exploring the world around me through art.
I still look back to some of the pieces I did and get ideas for new projects.
